Pavla, originally from the Czech Republic, has been living in Central Java since 2017, fully immersing herself in the local culture and uncovering hidden gems far from the typical tourist trails.
Dini, born and raised in Indonesia, is an adventurer at heart who seeks out the country’s most authentic experiences, preferring meaningful encounters over popular attractions.

The name Backindo carries a double meaning: "Backpacking Indonesia" and "Back to Indonesia."
